Monster of the Day #1635

Another sample of bathtub pareidolia: as the black paint continues to peel away, it leaves behind monsters of various countenance; I have to wonder if you see this one as well. Staring left in profile, with a cavernous eye and splintered teeth like mineralized shadows, this monster watches rogue water drops devour each other as they roll down toward the drain. It’s a ragged sort of face I can see in things easily, almost laughing, always sinister.

Despite the monsters, showers still bring a soothed state of mind. I wonder what else lives unseen in those walls.
