Anecdote of the Day #1754

It’s often best to part company with a story – a slice of someone’s life to ruminate on as you head home. After a successful (see: thoroughly tiring) session at Bridges, Brian shared his experience teaching kids this week, and how the boxcutter used for crafts – off-limits to the children – became a thing of legend because of how emphatically Brian had forbidden it.

Albany Hill is always here to greet me as I head home, an odd little bubble of magical forest towering above the sprawled city. It’s a lovely sight, whether hidden in fog or glowing in the sun; someday soon I’d like to go see what’s hiding in those trees.
