Dunes of the Day #1837

There’s a desert hung over the window, its dunes stretching long and soft to soak up the sunrise in my stead. Each morning, when they still glow with the Eastern light, I sweep them away and let the sun flood the room; each evening I roll them back, and they muffle the voices of passing strangers below.

If I were locked in a room for a year, I wonder what photographs I might make, finding a dozen perspectives for every last object in the room. Everything deserves to be noticed, to be sure – especially the things you interact with in day-to-day life.
