Dubiousness of the Day #1871

As we were perched on the glass molecule – recently repainted by Kate and somewhat crudely sharpied by a stranger – Laurel met the camera with a certain level of dubiousness, uncertain whether she should compose herself for the shot or pretend it didn’t exist. My camera’s not subtle enough to avoid changing the scene it observes; there’s some quantum disruption going on here that I can’t quite stop.

But I’ll learn to be less obtrusive with the lens and Laurel will likely acclimate a little to my cameras, so things will get along just fine.

It is important to put the cameras away for a while, and enjoy an evening in its natural, ephemeral state.
