Foam of the Day #1891

I made a permutation of my mom’s delicious soup tonight, for the first time in more than a year. There’s enough left to feed me for several days, but some scorched remnants are still sitting at the bottom of the pot. This colony of bubbles and its cohorts are working on that now, happy to eat away the grit while I sleep.

I love the flattened geometry of shared cell walls between bubbles – something about that perfect flatness between two spheres is so perfectly contradictory.
