Landscape of the Day #1998

These leaves have been accidentally blinded by an artist’s paints, it seems, and several of their kin suffered a similar fate. These particular few, in green and blue, now display a sort of landscape painting – simple and minimalistic, but perhaps what a bit of vine might paint just as it were beginning to learn.

I suppose these leaves won’t be able to decompose like the untouched ones do. Paintings are often made to preserve a scene, but this is taking it a step further, isn’t it?
