Fog of the Day #2265

The fog fell thick in Berkeley today, and we were treated to long lines of haloed lights as we walked through the dark of the campus. Whenever we lined up with the lamps just right, strips of shadow would slip through the mist, a sweet little spectacle that kept the night a little wondrous.

This was a few peoples’ first time to Berkeley – an unusual first impression, but I think something that will stick in their memory a bit. More nights like this would be lovely, and perhaps make up for the lack of snow in Berkeley winters.
