Ride of the Day #2494

We all happened to take the same commute this morning, and a second fold of fortune left us three empty seats so we could ride into the city together. I was tired, and so was Pearce, and Laurel seemed so as well, but still we had a lovely conversation as we whistled through the dark. Pearce demonstrated, with invisible rock walls, some of the moves we had to attempt at Bridges last night, which Laurel found terribly amusing; I’d have liked to capture the moment, but I sat at the corner of our L-shaped seating arrangement, without a camera with chameleon-eyes such a shot would be impossible.

I did manage to get a snapshot as I was leaving – a look through the dusty train window at two good friends, both tired and ready to face the day.
